4 Goal Management Tips for Small Business Owners

Recently, I started the Winter 2024 Season of GoalMinds - and we’re all so excited about the process and making HUGE strides towards our goals. Helping small business owners reach their goals is a passion of mine, especially if they’ve had these goals for weeks, months, or even years.

A few months ago, I wrote about the 4 Tips for Goal Management on Instagram. I’d love to share them with you here. Let’s go!

TIP ONE: SET SPECIFIC AND MEASURABLE GOALS

Write out your goals in advance and ensure they are SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound).

TIP TWO: PRIORITIZE YOUR TASKS

Break down your larger goals into small tasks to help you prioritize, stay motivated, and measure your progress.

TIP THREE: SKIP THE NON-ESSENTIALS

Skipping the non-essentials allows you to prioritize your time on the goals that truly matter. These are activities that don't directly contribute to achieving your goals, and can be eliminated or delegated.

TIP FOUR: MAKE YOUR SCHEDULE

Making a task schedule that aligns with your goals allows you to prioritize and allocate time effectively, facilitating steady progress towards achieving your desired outcomes.

Achieving goals is a good mix of time management, creating good habits, establishing and achieving small goal tasks, and being committed to doing the work. Did you know that having specific accountability appointments increases your chances of success by up to 95%? Yes, indeed. Do you have goals you’d like to achieve with the help of a mastermind group? The Spring Season of GoalMinds is now open - take a look at the program, and if you have questions, reach out to me anytime or book a 15-minute GoalMinds Zoom chat.
