Happy Entrepreneurship Month!
What better way to launch my updated website than to do so on Entrepreneurship Month! Being a small business owner, I am passionate about helping other small business owners run their businesses in a style that elevates their business but also doesn’t tax their valuable time. I also love to share resources, experiences, book recommendations, and more, and will be doing so here on my blog. Funnily enough, I started my first blog back in 2007, and it seems like it’s all coming full circle.
I’d love to start off by sharing about the Small Business Administration. So many entrepreneurs believe they have to go at it alone, but the SBA provides many (free) resources. For instance, one of their resource partners is SCORE, a no-cost counseling program that provides business mentors and classes to entrepreneurs. It is comprised of a network of volunteers who are experts in business. I’ve benefitted from taking many of their webinars and hope to pay it forward by teaching some myself.
The SBA also has programs for women-owned businesses, local Small Business Development Centers (find yours via your zip code here), and also by providing small business loans. Click any of these links and you’ll go down a rabbit hole of fantastic information to launch and grow your business. I hope you find it as helpful as I have!
