My 5 Favorite Mobile-based Photo and Video Editing Apps

FACT: Taking the perfect images and videos for your social media posts isn't always easy! It’s hard to find mobile applications that work within your budget and are easy to use.

There are a few phone-based apps that I love and have used consistently for years. The interfaces are quick to navigate, new updates are intuitive, and I get solid results each time. Plus, each has added AI capabilities that help make editing easier all around for entrepreneurs on the go. Here are my top 5 favorite editing apps to quickly edit your content for social media and more.

SNAPSEED

An OG and still so good. It's free, has many photo editing options, it's super effective, and there are great YouTube videos showing how to use it.

CAPCUT

A free all-in-one versatile editing app that creates stunning professional-grade content with its comprehensive set of tools. Think filters, music, templates, and so much more. It has a slight learning curve, and is one of the most popular editing apps.

CANVA

My love for Canva knows no bounds. I use Canva to create beautiful graphics, and edit images and videos, plus there are a ton of gorgeous templates, too. Free and Premium versions are available. (Note: I have the paid version.)

PHOTO DIRECTOR

Edit photos easily, AI technology, animated elements...lots of options! It can also be used on desktop. Free and Premium.

INSHOT

I’ve used it primarily for video editing - so good - and photo editing features are also available. It's an insanely useful app, and I haven’t even gone deep yet on all that it does!

Get creative with the help of these must-have mobile editing apps and share picture-perfect posts and videos that make you stand out from the crowd. Note: These are all good for both iPhone and Android. If you prefer to work at your desk, check out the desktop editing apps I recommend. Did I miss any that YOU use? Let me know in the comments!
